Episode 10: Stray, Part 1

I play the video game Stray, while telling stories about cats.

Corrections / Clarifications:

I conflated two things - Slylock Fox and Sly Cooper. It was Sly Cooper and the Thievius Racoonus.
Controllers work better when charged. I kept having issues with mine because it was almost dead and kept turning off. Then I plugged it in and edited out all that fail, but I still make reference to it in the commentary.

Episode 9: Making Maps with Master of Realms

Creating maps for my Forgotten Ruin RPG and Adventure wargame using Master of Realms Prerelease.

Corrections / Clarifications

Apologies again for the audio quality. I underestimated both how directional my new microphone is, and how much I actually move my head. Some audio was lost entirely, but I was able to save most of it via extensive audio editing. The downside to this, however, is that there ends up being a lot of background hiss in the barely salvageable sections. I will correct this in later episodes.

Shredder’s real name is Oroku Saki, not Hiroku Saki
Yes, they did spell “dimension” wrong in the epilogue - it’s spelled as “dimention” there. According to Interwebs, this a common misspelling.
There are some quiet segments with audio drops, making it sound “choppy”, because I had my noise gate set wrong. My apologies, but I’m still learning this audio stuff. I tried to reconstruct it. Hopefully, it’s doesn’t distract from your listening too much.

Episode 7: Creating an RPG Assistant with AI

Creating an AI assistant for any RPG which runs locally using Ollama and OpenWebUI. Also, Tony visits, and I tell some RPG stories from “back in the day”.

Clarifications and corrections:

The AI knows that my name is Matt because I created a user profile (not shown) telling it so.
When Llama 3.2 claimed Gary Gygax’s true name to be Gabor Gygax, I think it was hallucinating. I can find no corroboration for this assertion. Still, I did ask it to be a wizard, and didn’t give it a first name, so it might have just been being creative.
