I tell some computer stories regarding data recovery from old hardware, getting subtitle generation working on my GPU, and messing with an old home synthesizer / keyboard.

• A couple of the segements of audio got a little garbled. I’m not sure why, but I ended up having to dub over them, which is more noticeable than I would have liked it to be. Apologies.

Creating an AI assistant for any RPG which runs locally using Ollama and OpenWebUI. Also, Tony visits, and I tell some RPG stories from “back in the day”.

Clarifications and corrections:

• The AI knows that my name is Matt because I created a user profile (not shown) telling it so.

• When Llama 3.2 claimed Gary Gygax’s true name to be Gabor Gygax, I think it was hallucinating. I can find no corroboration for this assertion. Still, I did ask it to be a wizard, and didn’t give it a first name, so it might have just been being creative.
